1. Introduction

These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of the web design, hosting, and related services ("Services") provided by Aposlo Studios Ltd ("we," "us," "our"), a company registered in England and Wales, located in Kidderminster, West Midlands, DY10, United Kingdom.

By engaging our Services, you ("the Client," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Services Overview

Aposlo Studios provides custom website design, web hosting, domain registration, website maintenance, and optional search engine optimisation (SEO) services on a monthly subscription basis. Our Services are designed primarily for UK small businesses and tradespeople.

3. Subscription Plans & Pricing

Our Services are offered on the following monthly plans:

  • Starter: £24.99 per month — Custom website design, UK hosting, SSL certificate, free domain, ongoing updates and support.
  • Professional: £34.99 per month — Everything in Starter plus priority support, advanced design features, blog section, Google Analytics setup, and monthly performance reports.
  • Growth: £49.99 per month — Everything in Professional plus monthly SEO optimisation, Google Business Profile management, keyword strategy, and monthly ranking reports.

There are no setup fees. Your website is designed and built at no upfront cost. Domain renewal after the first year is £14.99 per year.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' written notice. Existing clients will be notified by email before any price changes take effect.

4. Free Website Build

We build your website at no upfront cost as part of your subscription. The website build is provided on the condition that you subscribe to one of our monthly plans. The typical turnaround time for a new website is 5 working days, though this may vary depending on the complexity of the project and the timeliness of your feedback.

5. Payment Terms

Subscription payments are billed monthly in advance. Payment is due on the same date each month, starting from the date your website goes live. We accept payment by direct debit, bank transfer, or card payment.

If a payment fails, we will attempt to contact you to resolve the issue. If payment is not received within 14 days of the due date, we reserve the right to suspend your website until the outstanding balance is cleared.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at hello@aposlostudios.com. There are no cancellation fees, no penalties, and no minimum contract period.

Upon cancellation, your website will remain live until the end of your current billing period. After that date, the website will be taken offline. We will provide reasonable assistance to help you migrate your content to another provider if requested.

7. Website Ownership & Intellectual Property

Design and code: The website design, code, and underlying structure created by Aposlo Studios remain our intellectual property for the duration of your active subscription. This means the design files and custom code are licensed to you while your subscription is active and cannot be transferred, copied, or reproduced without our written consent.

Your content: Any content you provide to us — including text, images, logos, and branding materials — remains your property at all times. We will never use your content for any purpose other than building and maintaining your website without your permission.

Domain name: If we register a domain on your behalf, the domain is registered in your name and belongs to you. Upon cancellation, we will transfer full control of the domain to you at no charge.

8. Updates & Maintenance

All plans include ongoing website updates and maintenance. This covers text changes, image replacements, minor layout adjustments, and general upkeep. Requests for significant redesigns or new features beyond the scope of your original build may incur additional charges, which we will discuss with you in advance.

9. Hosting & Uptime

We provide UK-based web hosting with a 99.9% uptime guarantee as part of all subscription plans. While we make every effort to maintain continuous service, we are not liable for downtime caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to server failures at our hosting provider, natural disasters, cyberattacks, or scheduled maintenance (for which we will provide reasonable notice).

10. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information and content for your website in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that any content you provide does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Not use your website for any unlawful purpose or to distribute harmful, offensive, or misleading content.
  • Make subscription payments on time as described in these Terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aposlo Studios Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of our Services. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We do not guarantee any specific results from our web design or SEO services, including but not limited to search engine rankings, website traffic, or business leads.

12. Termination by Us

We reserve the right to terminate your subscription and remove your website if you breach these Terms, fail to make payment after repeated reminders, or use the Services for unlawful or harmful purposes. We will provide reasonable notice before taking such action wherever possible.

13. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
